Alberto would say  his soccer journey started with playing street soccer in Sonora, Mexico. Watching Liga MX and National Team games on TV as a kid and getting that inspiration and love for the game.

Alberto played for Gateway CC, King University, and Club Leon FC.

Since then he has coached club soccer at Phoenix Rising, Real Salt Lake AZ, Legacy Soccer Club, and collegiately at Gateway Community and Arizona Preparatory.

Alberto’s coaching philosophy focuses on making the player improve as an athlete & futbol player, but most importantly as a person. The emphasis is on performances, and wins come naturally as a result of good performances. Soccer and challenges are tools to teach different values like: respect, resilience, work, commitment, positive energy, teamwork, punctuality, and honesty. Giving the player an experience that prepares them for life’s challenges.

Alberto’s education and coaching credentials include a UEFA A and US Soccer B Licenses, along with USC Premier and Advanced National Diplomas, USC DOC Diploma, Coerver Youth Diploma, and MLS/ORTEC Video and Data Soccer Analyst Certificate.
