Coach Dave has been at SF Elite since 2021.

 

He currently serves as ECNL Boys’ U19 coach.

 

Dave’s coaching experience spans over 27 years, ranging from Teacher of Physical Education for 22 years (High school and Elementary), and coaching youth soccer since 1996, from 5-18 years of age. 

 

Dave would say his soccer journey started from Sheffield in the UK. His brother was a professional footballer for Sheffield United, and football/soccer is a way of life in England. 

 

Dave played for England Youth International from U15-U18. Clubs Dave was a part of included Sheffield Wednesday, Darlington FC, Cape Cod Crusaders, Waterford United, Sheffield FC (the oldest club in the world-est 1857), Hallam FC, Gresley Rovers, Alfreton Town, and Gainsborough Trinity.

 

Since then he has coached at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United Academies in the UK, as well as coached numerous high school and college teams in the UK. Dave began coaching in the United States in 2000, as a summer camp coach and for competitive club soccer since 2016.

 

Dave’s coaching philosophy revolves around fostering development and improvement.

 

Dave’s education and coaching credentials include Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with Qualified Teacher Status, and UEFA B License.
