Gabe Silveira
Gabe joined SF Elite in 2024 bringing eight years of coaching experience into our club.

Gabe’s soccer journey began when playing in the streets of Brazil, a place where there's a lot of love and passion for the game. He has played all versions of the game including futsal, beach soccer and outdoor and has been inspired by previous coaches and teammates to be the best version of himself. When asked what soccer means to him, Gabe described taking lessons beyond the field and inspiring others to try to pursue their dreams, including the athletes he works with today.

Gabe has a wide range of playing experience including his club days with Marin FC, collegiate level with Sacramento State and semi pro with FC Tucson, Des Moines Menace and the San Jose Earthquakes U23. His professional experience includes training in Spain with Fourth Division UD Alzira. It’s not surprising this experience led to 6 years with US Beach Soccer National Team including 3 World Cup Appearances and a selection for the US Futsal National Team in 2020.

Gabe currently holds a USSF C License and has coached for 7 years with the SF Glens and 2 Seasons at Bay High School.

Gabe describes his coaching philosophy as a focus on the player as a whole. Helping each individual grow on and off the field by teaching accountability, leadership, hard work, and most importantly, teamwork. He tries to demonstrate the utmost respect for not only the players and coaches at SF Elite, but our opposition as well. You’ll see his teams play with good sportsmanship, and a style of play that encourages players to reach their maximum potential while being tactically aware, technically sound, and emotionally intelligent.
