Coach Raul has been at SF Elite since Fall of 2023.

 

He currently serves as the 2007, 2008, and 2009 ECNL Boys Head Coach.

 

Raul’s coaching experiences span over 19 years, ranging from competitive teams to collegiate level teams.

 

Raul played for Mar Vista SC, Beverly Hills SC, Hawthorn High/Downey High, Cerritos College, Liverpool FC Uruguay, Sud America FC Uruguay, Guanacaste FC Costa Rica, and Indios FC Ciudad Juárez Mexico.

 

Since then he has coached club soccer for Slammers FC Girls, Newport Mesa SC Girls, and FC Irvine SC Boys/Girls; high school soccer for Mater Dei High Girls; and colllegiatley for Cerritos College Mens.

 

Raul’s coaching philosophy revolves on all players playing defense, to then play offense.

 

Raul’s coaching credentials include a US Soccer C License.
