Coach Sophia has been at SF Elite since Fall of 2023. She was also a player with SF Elite from 2014- 2019 (Surf Cup Champions 2015).

 

She currently serves as Head Coach of 2012 Girls White and 2015 Girls Orange teams.

 

Sophia’s coaching experience spans over 5 years, beginning with summer camps with the Vikings, USF, and Sacred Heart Cathedral and currently the Girls Freshman Head Coach at Sacred Heart Cathedral.

 

Sophia’s soccer journey started at the age of 7 when she played on her elementary school’s team. She played with her twin sister Gabby and her love for soccer grew over the years. One of Sophia’s most memorable experiences was playing at the International Gothia Cup in Sweden. 

 

Sophia played as a freshman on varsity for her four years at Sacred Heart Cathedral (first ever CCS Division II Champions in school history x2). She also played Division I soccer at the University of Evansville, Indiana for 4 years.

 

Since then she began her soccer coaching journey here at SF Elite.

 

Sophia’s coaching philosophy is developing a passion for the game, connecting with players' individual strengths, and fostering a good team environment.

 

Sophia’s education and coaching credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Public Health at the University of Evansville.
