SEBASTIÁN CARRASCO

Sebastian Carrasco has been a part of San Francisco Elite Academy since 2019 and brings a diverse and high-level background that spans collegiate, professional, and youth soccer environments.

Carrasco has extensive experience in the college game, most notably at Cal State Long Beach, where he spent over a decade as a strength and conditioning coach at the Division I level. During his time there, he was part of a staff that achieved sustained success, including multiple conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, highlighted by an Elite Eight run. He later continued his collegiate coaching career at Cerritos College and Whittier College, contributing to both player development and team success. In 2024, he was promoted to Head Coach of the San Francisco State men’s soccer program.

In addition to his college experience, Carrasco has worked within the professional and semi-professional game, serving as manager of A.S. Los Angeles in the National Premier Soccer League. His background also includes leadership roles in youth soccer, including Director of Coaching at Boca Juniors Los Angeles, where he helped guide the club to a State Cup final, along with coaching positions at Beach FC, Chivas USA Academy, Santa Clarita United, and LA United.

Originally from Argentina, Carrasco brings a deep-rooted passion for the game along with a strong emphasis on player development through performance training. He holds a USSF A License, USSF Youth License, and an NCAA Director of Coaching License, reflecting his commitment to excellence across all levels of the sport.
